A bright kitchen with island seating
The island combines a sink and preparation area with an overhang for breakfast-bar seating. Along the opposite wall, drawers and cupboards sit beneath a long benchtop, with the oven and cooktop positioned in the main work area. Dark handles and tapware add contrast to the white cabinet fronts.
Open timber shelves flank the rangehood enclosure, creating space for everyday pieces and display. Windows and skylights bring daylight into the room, while the light finishes keep the kitchen feeling open.
Built-in seating with practical storage
A window seat extends the cabinetry into a comfortable nook beside the kitchen. Drawers below the seat add storage without a separate piece of furniture. Together with the island seating, it gives the room several ways to be used throughout the day.
