Artform manages the agreed joinery scope, from design and check measure through manufacture, delivery, installation and final joinery checks. We discuss site readiness and scheduling with you during planning.
Removal of the old kitchen, plumbing, electrical work, flooring and structural alterations must be agreed separately. Your quote will set out what is included so responsibilities and costs are clear. For stone benchtops, Artform coordinates with our preferred supplier, and you pay the stone supplier directly.
In most cases, our clients prefer to order their own appliances or use existing appliances. If you opt for cabinets with standard dimensions, the majority of appliances are sized to fit. Alternatively, if you have an appliance you love which isn’t a standard size, why not ask us to create custom cabinetry to suit its dimensions?
Removal and disposal of an existing kitchen need to be discussed and agreed before work starts. We will confirm whether these services are included in your quote or need to be arranged separately, so the site is ready for delivery and installation.
Plastering, electrical work, plumbing, floor levelling and other preparatory work need to be identified during planning and agreed separately from the joinery installation. Relevant work must be completed by appropriately qualified trades.
We will discuss the site requirements and sequence with you before installation so you know what needs to be ready and who is responsible.
In most cases no – we have a multi-skilled team that can complete most of the work without needing a subcontractor. When we do need a subcontractor, we will let you know. This gives you the choice to get that part of the work done elsewhere or leave it to us to source a dependable, licensed contractor.
