The Elemental House: A Showcase of Artform Kitchens’ Exceptional Design and Craftsmanship
Artform Kitchens is thrilled to present one of our most stunning creations yet as collaborators on The Elemental House. This architectural gem, nestled in the picturesque Dooralong Valley on the Central Coast, is a contemporary farmhouse featuring breathtaking views and an unparalleled design.
This incredible, custom-built home was recently featured on the award-winning TV show Grand Designs Australia, the episode airing on Fox on The Lifestyle Channel.
The Elemental House showcases the talents of electrician and project manager Mick Heuchan, who collaborated with master builder Greg Allen to bring this dream home to life. With a striking blend of stone, timber, concrete and glass, this custom-built residence exemplifies modern luxury. And at the heart of the home lies the pièce de résistance: the kitchen.
The kitchen in The Elemental House is a masterclass in sleek, contemporary design, providing both style and functionality. With high-quality appliances, ample storage and seamless integration with the rest of the home, this modern kitchen truly has it all. The crowning feature is the expansive island with a stone benchtop, which serves as both a food preparation area and a gathering spot for friends and family.
Designed with convenience in mind, the kitchen is equipped with top-of-the-line appliances, including a gas cooktop, electric oven and built-in microwave. The bench boasts a sink and dishwasher for effortless clean-up, ensuring the kitchen remains pristine and clutter-free.
Ample storage is a key feature of this Artform Kitchen design, with overhead cupboards, drawers and a spacious butler’s pantry. The combination of light and dark colours creates a sophisticated, contemporary aesthetic, while large windows allow natural light to flood the space, making for a bright and welcoming environment.
This exceptional project showcases the meticulous craftsmanship and quality that Artform Kitchens is renowned for, resulting in a home described by Peter Maddison, Host of Grand Designs Australia, as “spectacular.” The kitchen, laundry and butler’s pantry feature Laminex doors in Terril with an Absolute Matte finish, Formica Black cabinet interiors and Talostone Elba White benchtops and splashbacks, installed by All Stone & Glass. The drawer hardware is Blum Intivo Black, while the appliances are supplied by Fisher & Paykel. The Caroma Sink and Olida Undermount, as well as the Hafele Bin, complete the remarkable space.
The Elemental House is a testament to the dedication and skill of the team at Artform Kitchens. With our commitment to providing exceptional design and service to clients, we’re proud to be a trusted name in custom kitchens and honoured to receive recognition for our part in this stunning project.
